Dr. Ugonna Okafor is a doctorally prepared Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who provides psychiatric treatment, such as medication management and Psychotherapy to individuals from 13 years old to older adults via telehealth in Texas, Washington and Arizona state.

Ugonna completed her Bachelor s of Science in Nursing from Midwestern State University. After years of working with psychiatric and mental health patients in various settings, she went ahead to receive her masters degree in Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner at Texas State University. Ugonna continued her education to obtain her Doctorate degree in nursing practice at Frontier Nursing University.

During the initial appointment, Ugonna will work together to develop an individual treatment plan such as comprehensive psychiatric evaluation, psychiatric medication, coaching, psychotherapy, and holistic care that is right for you and your specific needs. The follow up
appointments may be frequent after the initial visit due to medication adjustments that may be necessary for the patient to reach their therapeutic goals. However, in every step to recovery, Ugonna works collaboratively with clients to hear their concerns, answer their questions, and to agree upon treatment goals.
